Understanding the Graph

Learning Dynamics provides each assessment user with a graph that visually demonstrates the degree to which an individual uses each of the four learning styles. The example below briefly describes the four learning styles as they are laid out in the graph. For more detailed information on each learning style, please click here:

The 4 Styles in the Graph

Sample Graph

Below is a sample of a graph that shows how much energy the individual has engaged in each learning style. By understanding the amount of energy that individuals have vested in each style, you can understand how to teach them according to their unique learning needs.

The Success/Satisfaction Cycle

The Learning Dynamics Graph offers an opportunity to understand where an individual fits into what we call "The Success/Satisfaction Cycle." The Success/Satisfaction Cycle describes the phases required to accomplish any task. Success requires the ability to effectively complete and move through each phase. Whether you are functioning as an individual or as part of a team, you are constantly creating or continuing these cycles.

An individual who scores high in a particular phase will enthusiastically dedicate time and energy to its tasks. Conversely, if his or her score is low, the individual likely will ignore the phase, use an inappropriate approach, or devote less energy than is required. Phases that are preferred by one person may be challenges for another.
